CQC launch surprise home care inspections

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) has launched a series of unannounced inspections of home care services around the country.

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) has launched a series of unannounced inspections of home care services around the country.

The healthcare watchdog will be carrying out 250 inspections over the next three months, will which run alongside regular spot-checks. Professional experts and people who have personal experience of home care services will join inspectors on the visits.
