CQC raps quality of adult care services

More than a third of adult social care services have been rated as requiring improvement or inadequate, according to the latest figures from the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

More than a third of adult social care services have been rated as requiring improvement or inadequate, according to the latest figures from the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

According to a report that went before the watchdog's board last week, the CQC has carried out more than 8,100 inspections of adult social care, hospice and residential services since October 2014.
