The embattled leader of Bournemouth Council faces a crucial survival vote next week, following moves from within his own Conservative group to oust him.

Two of the most senior Tories on the South Coast council have proposed a vote of no confidence in Cllr Peter Charon, to be held at a Conservative group meeting on 16 January.
