A study by the Centre for Social Justice says too many schools are avoiding hard challenges about tackling disrupting behaviour by pupils from troubled family backgrounds. With last month's riots currently the subject of an inquiry, this study is timely says Michael Burton.

Hard on the announcement of Darra Singh heading up a new inquiry into last month's riots  comes a report by the Centre for Social Justice on the exclusion of disruptive pupils from schools.
