Cuts to council budgets are making the integration of health and social care more difficult, according to a government-backed review.

A report by the Policy Innovation Research Unit, which was commissioned by the Department of Health to monitor the progress of a series of Pioneer pilot projects around the country, highlighted continuing cuts to adult social care as a barrier to their success.
