Cuts will hit residents' health

District Councils’ Network’s finance policy officer Tracy Bingham says forcibly reducing public expenditure when it’s already as lean as it can be will be damaging.

All councils will be in the throes of budget-setting.

In the not-so-distant past, I loved this time of year – developing a new years' budget feels like new opportunities, proactive interventions and different ideas.
