Relationships between some charities and local government have soured during the the current period of economic cuts, one industry body has warned.

Relationships between some charities and local government have soured during the the current period of economic cuts, one industry body has warned.

The National Association for Voluntary and Community Action's (NAVCA) annual survey of members, published last week, revealed that 22% of members reported links with their local councils had improved over the last 12 months. But 23% said relations had deteriorated.
