North Herts DC has reduced its sick absence rates down to 4.51 days per employee, beating its annual target.

North Herts DC has reduced its sick absence rates down to 4.51 days per employee, beating its annual target of less than eight days per employee.

The council introduced new flexible way of working, including working from home, to reduce absenteeism and increase staff performance. Leader of the council, Cllr Lynda Needham, said: 'The figures show that the council has a robust and dedicated workforce who can continue to deliver excellent value for money services for the people of North Herts.'
