In the darkest of times

Leaders, managerial or political, can all too easily give off an air of infallibility. They may appear impervious to the ills of the world. To do otherwise is to concede that they have weakness and these can be exploited.

So the driving maxim for leadership behaviour can be, “Give nothing away.”
