DCLG criticised over public land sale data

The National Audit Office has criticised the Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG) for failing to collect data on the disposal of public land for homes.

In a report published today, the watchdog said the DCLG did not collect any information on the amount of money raised from the sale of public land by Whitehall departments.
