Levels of staff engagement at the Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG) have made a marked improvement in recent years, spending watchdogs have noted.
In its annual report into the performance of the DCLG issued last week, the National Audit Office pointed to recent civil service staff survey figures which indicated the department is now above average in five out of nine key themes and has seen a marked 9% upturn in its score for ‘leadership and managing change' in the last year alone.
