New research from the London Assembly indicates that air pollution contributes to 9% of deaths in the capital.

A paper issued by the assembly's health and environment committee on 10 December shows the proportion of deaths attributable to airborne pollution was highest in the City of London, Westminster City Council and Kensington and Chelsea RLBC.
