Communities secretary Greg Clark has promised no devolution deals will be done without the backing of Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEPs).

In a speech given last week to members of the LEP Network, Mr Clark said LEPs would be ‘at the heart' of any devolution arrangements that go ahead.
