Soon to depart Oxfordshire CC chief executive Joanna Simons is in line for a payoff worth around £574,000, it has emerged.

The development follows confirmation Ms Simons will leave her post after the county decided to axe the chief executive role, as part of a senior management restructure  council leader Cllr Ian Hudspeth claims would save Oxfordshire £250,000 a year.
