Deputy chief executive of Derby City Council, Paul Robinson, has stepped temporarily into the top role following the voluntary redundancy of chief executive Adam Wilkinson who is on leave until his official leaving date of the end of January.

A decision about the future of the chief executive post will be decided later this year.
