Derby City Council chief executive stands down

Derby City Council chief executive Adam Wilkinson has stood down from his £160,000 a year role, barely one year into a three-year contract extension.

Derby City Council chief executive Adam Wilkinson has stood down from his £160,000 a year role, barely one year into a three-year contract extension.

A spokesman for Derby confirmed Mr Wilkinson, who took voluntary redundancy, is set to receive £100,000 compensation and three month's pay in lieu of notice.
