Derbyshire Dales DC appoints a new director of planning and housing services.

Derbyshire Dales DC has appointed Paul Wilson to the new post of director of planning & housing services. Mr Wilson, who since 2000 had been head of planning services, was appointed to the key job by a members' panel in a restructure at the council that sees the key planning and housing responsibilities combined for the first time. Employed by Derbyshire Dales since November 1994 initially as a member of the council's planning policy team, having previously worked for eight years at a metropolitan authority in Greater Manchester.
