Following a major organisational restructure at Devon CC, which has seen the corporate leadership team reduced from seven to three, Heather Barnes has been appointed strategic director place; and Jennie Stephens will become strategic director people.

Ms Barnes and Ms Stephens will work alongside chief executive, Phil Norrey, with responsibility for the overall strategic direction of the authority.
