Devon set to turn to Virgin Care to deliver children's services

Virgin Care is set to be awarded a £44m integrated children's services contract in Devon.

Virgin Care is set to be awarded a £44m integrated children's services contract in Devon. NHS Devon and Devon CC appointed the private healthcare firm as the preferred provider for the deal that will cover frontline children's and young people services, as well as services for children with disabilities and related public health nursing.

Detailed negotiations will now take place between Virgin Care, the local authority and NHS Devon and a final decision should be made in the autumn.
