Over the last couple of weeks two different forms of the politics of opposition to the Government’s Health and Social Care Bill have emerged. This is an interesting piece of politics and I thought it might be useful to give my take on how forms of oppositional politics take different shapes.
For over a year now there has been a clear and growing group of organisations and individuals saying that this Bill is politically and morally wrong because it is trying to achieve x. We are against x and therefore are against the Bill and want it stopped.
