Dilnot calls for £6bn for social care

The leader of a review into the future of funding social care under the coalition Government has called for an extra £6bn over three years.

The leader of a review into the future of funding social care under the coalition Government has called for an extra £6bn over three years.

Giving evidence to the House of Lords' Committee on Adult Social Care, Sir Andrew Dilnot, said the Government should increase funding by £2bn each year for three years.
