Dr Cate Carmichael has been named as the new director of public health at North East Lincolnshire Care Trust Plus.

She is currently deputy director of public health at NHS Warrington and, having worked as a consultant in both North and North East Lincolnshire about 10 years ago, she has a good understanding of local health and wellbeing issues.
