Three flagship councils have appointed new directors in a bid to combine services.

Three flagship councils have appointed new directors in a bid to combine services.

Two more directors have been appointed as part of innovative plans to combine services across three flagship councils. Hammersmith & Fulham, the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea and Westminster City Council are combining back office and management costs in order to save £33m a year from 2014/15 onwards.
