Almost one in five directors of public health do not plan to transfer over to their local authorities in April, according to the latest professional survey.

According to the Association of Directors of Public Health (ADPH), 18% of members who recently responded to a survey did not plan to move over to local government, as councils prepared for the transfer of pubic health responsibilities on 1 April.
