Five leading charities have warned of a growing social care crisis for disabled people, with 100,000 failing to get basic support.

Research published on 17 January by Scope, Mencap, the National Autistic Society, Sense and Leonard Cheshire Disability, claims almost 40% of disabled people receiving social care are not having their basic needs met.
