Disabled people to lose out under UC, claim charities

Three national charities issue a report claiming up to 450,000 disabled people will lose out under Universal Credit.

Three national charities have issued a report claiming up to 450,000 disabled people and their families will lose out under Universal Credit (UC), the Government's flagship welfare policy.

According to research undertaken by the Children's Society, Citizens Advice and Disability Rights UK, around 100,000 households with children could see weekly incomes reduced by £28.
