Disaster dossier for authorities

Local authorities in London launched a business continuity tool-kit last week to help firms keep going when disaster strikes. The London prepared pack of CD-ROMs was praised by London minister, ~Jim Fitzpatrick~ who warned, ‘If you fail to plan, you plan to fail'.

‘We look to local government to provide social cohesion and leadership, and business continuity is a good way of showing that,' he added. Under the Civil Contingencies Act, all councils have a duty to promote business continuity from this May.
