A local government think tank has called for district councils to be at the forefront of the economic recovery.

A local government think tank has called for district councils to be at the forefront of the economic recovery.

In a report published today (7 March), the New Local Government Network (NLGN) says district and borough councils need to step up to the plate and encourage local growth.
