Districts to get more say over traffic measures

Ministers have revealed plans to give town, parish and district councils more say in traffic-related matters.

Ministers have revealed plans to give town, parish and district councils more say in traffic-related matters.

The Department for Transport wants transport authorities to consult with nearby councils when introducing new traffic restrictions, in order to improve local engagement.
