Doing the right thing for children

With the direction of the Government’s policies for schools and SEND becoming clearer, the new president of the Association of Directors of Children’s Services Steve Crocker speaks to Ann McGauran about his priorities for the next year.

Steve Crocker has a track record of strong performance and peer improvement that has already led to significant national recognition.

The new president of the Association of Directors of Children's Services (ADCS) has been director of children's services for Hampshire and the Isle of Wight since 2015, and before this served as deputy director of children's services for more than six years.
