Doncaster MBC has approved plans to cut staff pay by 4% - and to slash other perks - in a bid to save the local authority £6.2m a year.

Doncaster MBC has approved plans to cut staff pay by 4% - and to slash other perks - in a bid to save the local authority £6.2m a year.

Councillors voted in favour of changing staff terms and conditions yesterday (Monday), a move that the authority claims could save between 200 and 250 jobs.
