Doncaster MBC will refer one member of staff to the General Social Care Council (GSCC) and launch disciplinary investigations against a further five employees in the aftermath of the infamous ‘J' children case.

An independent assessment conducted by Solace Enterprises found over a 15-year period some 279 council staff interacted with the family of two brothers - then aged 10 and 11 - who on 4 April 2009 inflicted a serious attack on two other boys of a similar age in the village of Edlignton.
