Dorset confirms 2017 elections despite reorganisation debate

County council elections in Dorset will go ahead next year, despite on-going discussions about reorganisation.

County council elections in Dorset will go ahead next year, despite on-going discussions about reorganisation.

A report going before Dorset CC's full meeting on 10 November states that, following advice from the Department for Communities and Local Government, the next county council elections will take place in May 2017, as previously planned.
