The Association of Directors of Adult Social Services (ADASS) has backed a draft code of conduct and training standards for social care workers, produced by Skills for Care and Skills for Health.

The co-chair of ADASS's workforce network, Jo Cleary, said the organisation ‘will make sure these standards are promoted throughout our own networks', and promised ‘we shall be urging all our staff to participate'.
