A campaign to encourage more people to use council websites was launched at the Department for Communities and Local Government on Monday.

E-government adviser, Dr Peter Blair, said the campaign was based on Norwich City Council 's e-citizen project. A new website, www.direct.gov.uk/mycouncil, has been launched to help people find their local council sites.
