Drop in fly-tipping

Incidents of fly-tipping reported by English councils have decreased on last year,DEFRA reported this week.

Incidents of fly-tipping reported by English councils have decreased by 127,335 on last year, the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs reported this week.

The GMB trade union immediately called on communities secretary, Eric Pickles, to lead a campaign to support council waste-disposal facilities, so that controls continue to improve.
