Figures from the National Treatment Agency for Substance Misuse (NTA) have revealed a drop in the number of users seeking help for cocaine and crack use.

NTA chief executive, Paul Hayes, said fewer young people were getting hooked on heroin, and drug treatment programmes were beginning to show an effect.
