Dudley chief welcomes commissioner intervention

Dudley MBC’s chief executive has welcomed a government decision to send in a commissioner to turn around the council’s ‘inadequate performance’ in children’s social care.

Dudley MBC's chief executive has welcomed a government decision to send in a commissioner to turn around the council's ‘inadequate performance' in children's social care. 

Sarah Norman, who joined the council last January, said she ‘will not stop until the children of the borough have a service we can all be proud of'.
