East Dorset holds highest life expectancy, ONS finds

Statistics show people in East Dorset have the highest life expectancy in England, with those in Manchester and Blackpool the lowest.

People in East Dorset have the highest life expectancy in England, with those in Manchester and Blackpool the lowest, figures suggest.

According to analysis by the Office for National Statistics (ONS), men living in East Dorset are expected to reach 83 and women 86.4 years.
