Nottinghamshire CC leader Ben Bradley has demanded ministers act to avoid ‘a two-tiered system of devolution' and stop levelling up being ‘defined by left-leaning politicians'.

Mr Bradley, who is also Conservative MP for Mansfield, has spearheaded a letter to levelling up secretary Michael Gove demanding a ‘blueprint' for devolving powers to regions such as the East Midlands which matches those offered to ‘trailblazer' regions.
