Edinburgh City Council is set to build 8,000 homes over the next decade in a bid to tackle a lack of affordable housing.

Edinburgh City Council is set to build 8,000 homes over the next decade in a bid to tackle a lack of affordable housing.

Proposals went before the council's health, social care and housing committee on 10 November to extend its current housebuilding programme from 3,000 to 8,000.
