Voting watchdog the Electoral Commission will run a public awareness campaign ahead of this November's inaugural elections.

Voting watchdog the Electoral Commission will run a public awareness campaign ahead of this November's inaugural elections for police and crime commissioners (PCCs).

With nine weeks left before the elections take place on 15 November, the Commission says it is important voters get information for what are completely new elections, for a new role, taking place at an unusual time of year and using a system, the supplementary vote, which most people are unfamiliar with.
