'More end-of-life training needed' for care workers

A new NHS report has warned that social care workers need to be given better training in communications skills to help patients who are nearing the end of life.

The report, by the National End of Life Care Programme (NEoLCP), was based on 12 pilot programmes, covering health and social care throughout England.
