'Enough is enough'

Chief executive of the Association of Electoral Administrators (AEA) Peter Stanyon says a root and branch review of election delivery must happen, with the concerns of those on the frontline heard and understood

The European Parliamentary Elections are old news, with the Conservative leadership contest and Brexit dominating headlines.

A small group of people will not forget 23 May in a hurry though – the electoral administrators who bore the brunt of criticism from those who believe they were ‘denied their vote'.
