Bristol City Council’s digital manager, Stephen Hilton, has been appointed to a new role bringing together green, digital and European agendas to support the city’s economic success.

Bristol City Council's digital manager, Stephen Hilton, has been appointed to a new role bringing together green, digital and European agendas to support the city's economic success.

Mr Hilton will take up the services director's post next month on a two-year, fixed-term basis. The new role will oversee the council's economic development activities, in particular, as a leading low carbon and digital city. Mr Hilton will work closely with business in the city to help deliver new jobs and create opportunities for innovation.
