South Lanarkshire Council has appointed Lovell to build a £2.6m development of environmentally-friendly council homes in East Kilbride. The 22 homes will be built on the site of the former Canberra Primary School, which has moved to another location.

South Lanarkshire Council has appointed Lovell to build a £2.6m development of environmentally-friendly council homes in East Kilbride. The 22 homes will be built on the site of the former Canberra Primary School, which has moved to another location.

‘The development will help meet the housing need in East Kilbride area, where there is a high level of demand for new homes,' said South Lanarkshire Council's executive director of housing and technical resources, Ann Gee.
