Local economic growth remains at risk of stalling unless ministers take urgent steps to match European funding with cash from the Regional Growth Fund, MPs have warned.

According to a report into the management of the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), published by the communities and local government committee on 13 July, the transfer of responsibilities from the defunct regional development agencies (RDAs) to the Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG) has been managed well.
