Erewash BC has ruled out joining the proposed Derby and Derbyshire combined authority, citing its close relationship with councils in Nottinghamshire as a key factor.

Councillors met on 12 February to vote on whether or not to join the Derbyshire combined authority, but the plans were rejected after only 21 members voted in favour of the proposal and 24 members voted against.
