Communities secretary Eric Pickles has warned any 'influx' of Romanian and Bulgarian citizens from December would compound the UK's existing housing shortage.

Communities secretary Eric Pickles has warned any 'influx' of Romanian and Bulgarian citizens from December would compound the UK's existing housing shortage.

Mr Pickles conceded he did not trust the figures he had been given on how many might travel to Britain once they have been given the right to live and work here from December.
