Plymouth City Council has apologised after failing to include thousands of votes in a General Election declaration.

Plymouth City Council has apologised after failing to include thousands of votes in a General Election declaration.

The council admitted that 6,587 votes for the Efford and Lipson area were not included in the final declaration for the Plymouth Sutton and Devonport constituency though the error did not affect the result of the election.
